Airbags.- Airbags became standard approximately since
the year 2000. They became very popular since then. Most of them are installed to protect the passengers in the front sit; But also there are some that are installed on the sides of the car. These later ones are relatively new. Most of cars manufactured before the year 2000 did not come with airbags as a standard safety feature.
