I was navigating trough the Internet and found a very interesting article titled "40 years of road safety adverts". It's about the history of hard-hitting and thought-provoking adverts from the Britain's Department of Transport that stretch back over 40 years. The article finished by saying that the most recent campaigns which warns drivers to kill their speed or live with the consequences are very strong as well, but focuses on the grief and guilt of a man who has killed a young child in an accident. Reactions indicate that the powerful message has reached the intended audience. During these years with road safety ads, Road Deaths in Britain fell to under 3,000 in 2007 (lowest in 80 years.)
